Close by is also the magnificent Lake McIntyre home to the most impressive sanctuary of amazing birds and wildlife. Canunda National Park is also another amazing wonder to the eye and great for beach fishing and great to take you 4WD for some exploration.

Nearby towns include the famous Mount Gambier, South Australia’s second largest city and home of the world renown Blue Lake with cobalt waters filling a massive volcanic crater. The Cave garden is a majestic sinkhole surrounded by a beautiful stunning garden in the middle of the town. The Limestone Coast also hosts the largest wind farm in the southern hemisphere at close by Lake Bonney.
